***Fiest Bowl Update***

Noel Devine has just scored yet another touchdown against the Oklahoma Sooners in Tempe, Arizona. At this point he's broken the speed of sound so many times that sonic booms have reduced his uniform to nothing more than a pair of shorts. Bob Stoops is currently beside himself with rage and appears to have beaten Brent Venables, OU's defensive coordinator, to a bloody pulp.
Terry Donahue pointed out in the 3rd quarter that Noel Devine is fast and trim, but not ripped. We'd have to disagree with that one based upon this photographic evidence and say that Donahue is, in fact, a raging fucking moron. Not that we are admiring Noel Devine's body mind you. Not that there's anything wrong with that if we were. Besides, he's in no better physical condition than I am anyway. Nope, not at all.

***THIS JUST IN***

Noel Devine has "Oklahoma speed"!!

Flying Squirrel - Full Frontal View

For my money, this was the most awesome endzone entrance in the history of BCS bowl games. Granted, I'm severely and extraordinarily biased. I present to you, Darius Reynaud in the "Flying Squirrel". Fantastic work.

I must admit though, that in this particular picture, he looks like some sort of crazed frog suicide leaping from lily pad to lily pad.

Sorry For The Laziness and Lack Of Updates

I am still basking in the glory of our Fiesta Bowl asswhipping of Oklahoma. Frankly, I think everyone still should be. Take a moment to step back, lay off Bill Stewart and the AD, and just enjoy it people. We have won 2 BCS games in 3 years against the stiffest of competition. That is something to be proud of. And remember, Stewart doesn't have to build us a program, he just has to not screw it up. I have all the faith in the world that he, and we, will be just fine. So chill out, sip some whiskey, and love life. We are on top of it all right now, and we've worked very hard to get there. Let's take it in.

Our Hero

Dear Bill Stewart,

I just want to say thank you. Thank you for so many things. Thank you for being a true Mountaineer. Thank you for being someone I am proud to call a West Virginian. Thank you for handling this with such dignity, class, and professionalism. Thank you for preparing this team and opening up the playbook. Thank you for showing the nation that WVU does not live and die by Rich Rodriguez. Thank you for everything you've done. You will be a West Virginia legend for all of eternity. Most of all, thank you for just being one of US.

Fiesta Bowl

Well, I don't have any thorough game preview to give you, because there's no need. We all know what we're trying to overcome, both physically and mentally. The team, the university, the fans, and the state are up against it. We're being trashed on the radio and tv all day long on every station. We're whiners, we shouldn't be upset because we're just an inferior program, we don't have any fanbase, we're not talented enough....it goes on and on. Oklahoma is going to crush us. They are a superior program with superior talent, and there's no way we can hang in there. Rich Rodruiguez is gone, and so is our period of success. It's going to be a blowout tonight, and WVU football is going to be forever mediocre.
To the people who truly believe that, I have only one thing to say. Fuck you. We have been great before, will be great again, and are great right now. Whatever happens tonight, WVU will remain on top. We've all fought too long and hard to give up our position now. We have a great team, great fans, and a wonderful state. So let's do this thing tonight. Let's shock everyone again. We're the underdog, and that's what we do best. It's West Virginia versus the world tonight, just like all those other times that nobody thought we could do it. WVU - 41 OU - 35

Let's GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Mountaineers!!
