The Healing Process Continues

And the basketball team is helping. Damn kids, our hoops team is looking good tonight. I'm struck by how much more athletic our guys look. We look strong, fast, and tough. I love it. We can defend, we can rebound (better anyway), and we can score. We WILL finish better than our pre-season projections, bank on that. And for what it's worth, Joe Alexander is a beast. He's going to seriously posterize some cats this year. We're up 17 at the half...

and we finish off by beating that ass. Well played gentlemen, well played. I look forward to seeing more of this in the near future. I am once again excited for WVU athletics. Woohoo!

Suicide Week Is Almost Over

I almost feel like a normal human being today. Until, of course, someone mentions The Game That Shall Never Be Mentioned Again, again. Thus, I remain in my bunker until I can put forth something that doesn't reek of despair. Good day, fair readers, the healing continues.

One Final Thought

To all of you out there who purchased tickets and travel packages to the BCS National Championship Game:

I hate you.

-J.

P.S. I don't really hate you, I'm just bitter and depressed and need somewhere to focus my vitriol.

Rich Rod Presser

Just watched the Rodriguez Monday press conference. He has restored some sense of my dignity, but not much. His explanation for the outcome was the same as every person in that stadium...."it was a complete nightmare". Agreed. He pointed out that we did things we've never done. Agreed. He said we played the worst we have in years. Agreed. I think he said fuck. Agreed.

My Evening Plans

I rejoined the real world Monday in Columbus after that debacle. Wow.

Fuckity Fuck Fuck Fuck FUCK!!!

Sigh. This kid is a younger version of me right now.

Kill me.

Our BCS Destination

WVU shall play Oklahoma. I couldn't care less. Also, no team in our situation ever wins their bowl game. So chew on that.

There is nothing for me to say right now. Thanks Rich.
