First I would like to say I am a huge Eers fan and overall I am happy with RR success mostly because he is from WV. He is great at getting recruits that fits his system, aka Pat White who everyone wanted as a WR. However there are many misconceptions about RR that only people who follow WV religiously can pick up on. First, he gets credit for being an offensive genius. I agree the spread is a great system that is hard to defend. However, RR never has used half the talent he has on probably the fastest team in the nation. He has depended on White to win every game single handedly. He has run 6 plays all year! He hasn't even used Slaton all year. Any fan can sit on their couch and call every play before it happens. My biggest complaint is that he is the WORST GAME DAY COACH in the country. There are zero adjustments made at the half. Check the facts, but other than the Sugar Bowl that he almost pissed away in the 2nd half - he has choked in every big game the past 2 seasons. He pisses down his leg which causes his team to play very tight. EVERY BIG GAME! WVU played for a national championship before he got here and had many players go to the NFL. So good luck Michigan with the genius and his 5 plays. I am pretty sure that Tressel will stop a bubble screen every other play. OSU should be dancing in the streets because Rich would ensure that they will continue to beat Michigan every year when Rich craps is pants on the sideline. I PRAY TO GOD THAT WVU GOES AFTER BRIAN KELLY. He runs the spread and actually has the balls to call different plays and throw the ball. He would do more with WVU talent than RR would ever dream about. Everyone cried about Belien and now he is getting his *** kicked by HARDVARD while Huggins has us flying high. Thanks for your time Rich, but there is no room in Morgantown for a money wh0re!"

The Continuing Saga of Rich Rodriguez

I get the sense that many fans are upset that Rich Rodriguez may be headed out the door. I also get the sense that many of these fans have only been watching since 2003. I, for one, could care less if RR hits the skids. In fact, it would likely make me a happy camper. Most of my friends who have been long-time fans would agree. Rich didn't build this football program, and hasn't really done as much with it as he could have. Give me someone with a sack who can actually call plays and prepare a team. Please.

Do not fret WVU faithful, do not fret. We are 15th in all time wins. Rich didn't do that by himself. We've had 3 10-win seasons in a row. Does that not coincide with the adding of a 12th game? It does. In the past, we'd be rocking 3 9-win seasons. That's not nearly as impressive. Finally, with the schedule we play, I could coach to 10 wins a year. If you need more reasons why I'd be happy to see him go, let me know and I'll produce. The only thing that makes me nervous is the natural disorder that takes place after a coaching change. But I'll make that trade...

Absence Explained

Sorry for not being any more active than I have been lately. I have absolutely no stomach for diving into Mountaineer football at this point. Basketball is slowly bringing me back though. Regardless, I'm gonna get some videos and such up here soon. Let's gooooooooooo Mountaineers!

Great Win By The Basketball Team

Duquesne is not a crappy team, and we pounded them. That's going to be a high quality win before it's all said and done. We currently lead the nation in margin of victory, and in opponent's shooting percentage. That means we score alot and the opponent doesn't. I thought this team would be pretty good, but they might be really good. We'll have to wait and see I guess, but for now I'm very excited.
