Thursday Night Hangover

Alright, look. I'm still really angry about that game. Disgusted, actually. Anyway, I'm not in any type of shape or mood to really do anything with the blog. I'm still in Morgantown trying to forget what I saw on Thursday night. For a more complete recap of exactly how I feel, check out Charley's newest post on West BY GOD Virginia. It's right on the money.

I'll get back to doing something productive tomorrow. There was a pretty nasty article written about WVU and the fans on the CBS website that I'm going to analyze. The worst part? I agree with much of it...and that breaks my heart.

Afterthoughts

We should not be a Top 25 team. We are not good. We have all the talent in the world, and absolutely no execution. Our game day coaching sucks. Our play calling sucks. Our star players can't hold on to the goddam ball, and it sucks. Thank God for our defense, or we would have gotten killed tonight, and frankly, we deserved to. Yes, I'm pissed off, and we all should be. That was straight up embarrassing tonight. To all you people saying that it's a win and that's all that matters? You haven't been paying attention. We're trying to win national championships here, not just chill out in the Top 15. We can't play like this EVERY TIME we're on national television, and ask for more respect. We have to earn it, and right now, we're earning less. The next time someone tells me that WVU sucks, I will not disagree. I'm so tired of this shit. We should be so much better than we are right now, and I just can't get over how bad we look. I love the Mountaineers with all my heart, but I hate this team tonight. This was absolutely embarrassing. End of story. If you want to disagree, feel free, but I saw that bullshit in person. I felt the pain of every fan in there. I saw the UL fans celebrate at our suckiness. We should not be a Top 25 team.

"This Guy In the Yellow Shirt is a Pain In My Ass"

I laughed so loud watching this. I feel his pain.

The Polls Are Fucking Rigged, and So Shall Mine Be (Week 11)

Let's give this a shot. I'm certain that I won't be happy with it though...

1. Oregon - I'm not so sure about their defense, but they are sweeeeeet on offense.
2. WVU - When we come to play, I think we're more like #1. Big game this week to prove that.
3. LSU - They are so damn lucky, but they just keep doing it.
4. Ohio State - They play so close to the vest that they don't make mistakes.
5. Oklahoma - Remain to be tested by Mizzou
6. Mizzou - We'll see what happens in the Big XII title game against OU.
7. Georgia - I dunno about this one.
8. Arizona State - They really are good, but Oregon made them look stupid.
9. Kansas - Good for them running it up on the Huskers. I love Mangino!
10. Virginia Tech - Sadly, they have absolutely no offense.
11. USC - Still wouldn't want to play them really.
12. UConn - Keep on winning and we'll crush your dreams.
13. Auburn - Sure.
14. Texas - Sketchy? Absolutely.
15. Cincinnatti - Great defense, good enough offense.
16. Florida - No defense, subpar offense, somehow I still think they're good.
17. Virginia - Apparently they only lose to the crappiest teams on their schedule.
18. USF - 8 turnovers and still almost pulled it off. I hate them.
19. Boston College - Yeah, this is more like it.
20. Tennessee - Whatever
21. Alabama - Whatever
22. Louisville - I like beating ranked teams!
23. Michigan - HOT! HOT! HOT! and almost Sparty'd
24. Clemson - Did I drop them? I can't remember, and I don't care.
25. Rutgers - Keep chopping! Hahaha.

I can't believe WVU lost to USF. I really can't. We should be sitting on top of it all right now, or at worst, #2. Now, we can't even get past #7 because we continue to be jumped by teams that we would hammer. Oh well, we just have to keep winning. We've still got a ways to go with this season, and some teams have championship games. Sadly, our schedule is crap. Maryland is killing us, as are USF, UL, and RU. Sigh.

Matty Ice Can Suck It

He does, after all, go to Boston College.

Defensive Play of the Year

USA! USA! USA!

Dammit!

Suffering from some internet issues. I am in the process of getting it fixed. Expect long delays, heavy congestion, and a general pain in the ass for about a half hour or so. Or much, much longer.

New BCS Is Out

We remain #7. We continue to get jumped by teams that win while we are idle. We did move up in the human polls to #6, but are too low in the computers.
